An unusual Derby coffee cup and saucer

An unusual Derby faceted coffee cup and saucer, painted in coloured enamels with named views of 'Near Breadsall, Derbyshire' and 'Near Derby', on a gilt 'ermine' ground, with salmon and gilt borders, the cup with crowned crossed batons mark in blue, pattern number 117 and titled beneath, circa 1785-90, the saucer with crowned crossed batons mark in red and titled verso, circa 1820

Provenance: American Private Collection 

It is interesting that this saucer has been decorated in late 18th century style
