A superb Worcester baluster shaped mug

A superb Worcester baluster shaped mug, the notched loop handle with 'kicked-out' lower terminal, painted in coloured enamels in Chinese style with the Beckoning Chinaman pattern, the reverse painted with a bold spray of flowers and leaves, 4 1/2" high, circa 1755, no mark

It is rare to find this pattern on a mug with this scarce handle form. The current example has survived in immaculate condition
