A Staffordshire enamel bonbonniere, in the form of a pug's head, naturalistically decorated, the gilt metal mounted hinged cover painted in colours with a girl playing a lute, the interior painted with flowers and puce 'C' scrolls, 1 3/4" long, circa 1770
