A Meissen chocolate cup and saucer, the cup with two leaf moulded gilt loop handles, finely painted in coloured enamels with a stag hunt, and figures on bridges in river landscapes, within gilt, puce and iron red scale and scroll cartouches, and gilt borders, the underside of the saucer painted with three flower sprays in famille verte palette, circa 1735, blue crossed swords marks and gilder's numeral 9
