A Chelsea octagonal deep plate

A Chelsea octagonal deep plate, finely painted in coloured enamels with a spray of flowers and leaves, scattered flowers, two butterflies and a winged insect, within a flower head diaper moulded border, brown line rims, 9 1/2" wide, circa 1755, stilt marks 

This plate displays the very best Chelsea Red Anchor Period flower and insect painting, and has survived in immaculate condition
