A Worcester ‘Blind Earl’ plate

A Worcester 'Blind Earl' plate, moulded in relief with a rosebud and leaves, boldly picked out in coloured enamels, and painted with a flower spray, scattered flowers and an insect, the lobed rim with a gilt 'C' scroll band, 7 3/4" diameter, circa 1772, no mark

This example of a Worcester 'Blind Earl' plate is particularly finely painted, with unusual 'feathering' to the stems of the leaves
