A rare Furstenberg model of a monkey musician, after a Meissen model, the anthropomorphic figure seated at a keyboard, supported on the back of a monkey standing four square, and decorated in coloured enamels, the oval mound base picked out in puce and gilt, 5 3/8" high, circa 1780, painted pseudo Meissen mark in blue
