A rare Derby compressed globular bowl and cover, of exceptional size, with two loop handles and pinecone knop, finely painted in coloured enamels with two large sprays of flowers and leaves, and scattered flowers, within fluted bands picked out in gilt, on round base, 12 3/4" high, circa 1820, crowned crossed batons mark in red
