An exceptional pair of Derby small plates, each boldly painted in blue and gilt in Egyptian style with profiles and hieroglyphs, on a yellow ground roundel, the yellow ground border painted with masks, ram's heads and symbols, gilt line rim, 6 3/4", circa 1805-10, crowned crossed batons marks in red
