A fine South Staffordshire enamel large rectangular casket, with gilt metal mounted hinged cover, superbly painted in colours with figures in extensive Italianate landscapes, with buildings and ruins, within yellow 'C' scroll cartouches, the bright green ground with an all over white diaper design, 8 1/2" wide, circa 1765
