A rare pair of Chelsea plates

A rare pair of Chelsea plates, painted in purple monochrome by Fidelle Duvivier with continuous scenes of military encampments, with mounted figures and tents, gilt line rims, 7 7/8" diameter, circa 1765-69, gold anchor marks

A teapot with near identical decoration is in the Victoria and Albert Museum, and see also Geoffrey Godden, Fidelle Duvivier, 2004, where he suggests this is a unique Chelsea service
