An extremely rare Coalport plate

An extremely rare Coalport plate, superbly painted in coloured enamels with 'Camaralzaman's Unfortunate Curiosity, Arabian Nights', after Robert Smirke, the gilt border with a geometric band and lion rampant crest, 8 1/4" diameter, titled verso, dated August 1807 and inscribed John Duncombe Taylor 

Provenance: From a dessert service with views taken from The Arabian Nights, 
presumably commissioned by John Duncombe Taylor from Bristol, the owner of Little Sion and Sion Hill Estates, Antiqua. Another plate from this service is in the Victoria and Albert Museum
