A rare Coalport plate, finely painted in coloured enamels by Robert Brewer with a couple, a donkey and a dog in a lakeland landscape with figures in a boat, within a broad gilt dolphin, bird and leaf scroll border, 8 1/2" diameter, circa 1800-1805, no mark

Robert Brewer (1775-1857), is best remembered as a decorator at the Derby factory
