A Chelsea Derby ovoid vase and cover, with two angular beaded loop handles and pointed knop, painted in coloured enamels by Zachariah Boreman with a scene of 'Maria and her dog', the reverse with travellers in an extensive river landscape, each within an oval panel, on a gold ground painted overall with flowers and leaves, above a blue and gilt spirally fluted ban, on square base, 10" high, circa 1782, gold anchor mark
