A good Derby plate, finely painted in coloured enamels by George Complin with birds in a wooded river landscape, within a gilt beaded roundel, the spirally fluted rim with gilt dot and line bands, 8 1/2" diameter, circa 1790, crowned crossed batons mark in puce and pattern number 159
