A rare pair of Derby groups

A rare pair of Derby groups of Procris and Renaldo and Armida; Procis reclining against a tree trunk, with Cephalus removing an arrow, and Renaldo asleep as Armida attempts to cover him with leaves and flowers, each decorated in coloured enamels and gilt, before a tree-stump, on flower and leaf applied mound base, 8" high, circa 1778, incised No 75 and No 76
