A pair of Meissen (Marcolini) oval monteiths, each with two leaf moulded handles picked out in turquoise and gilt, and boldly painted in coloured enamels with sprays of flowers and leaves and scattered flowers, the boldly shaped rim with a gilt dentil band, 11 1/2" wide overall, circa 1775, blue painted crossed swords and star marks and impressed numerals
