A very rare Charles Gouyn (St James's Factory) scent bottle, in the form of a young woman, standing, holding a parrot, a pannier of flowers on her back, wearing a flower sprigged dress and white apron, a dalmation seated at her feet, the mound base inscribed in iron red 'FIDELLE ME GUIDE', the underside painted with a pink rose and leaves, yellow metal stopper with chain, 2 3/4" high, circa 1752-56
