An unusual Derby oval Empire style teapot and cover, with 'C' scroll loop handle, leaf moulded tapering spout and loop knop, finely decorated in gilt with scrolling berry and leaf bands, within gilt line borders, 6 1/2" high, circa 1810, crowned crossed batons mark in red and pattern number 540
