A Wemyss small baluster shaped wash jug and round basin, painted in puce with the monogram 'EAW', beneath a coronet, within heart shaped cartouches, surrounded by puce and green ribbons and hearts, green dentil borders, the basin 11" diameter, circa 1895, impressed marks

Provenance; A wedding gift to Lady Edith Amelia Wolverton (nee Ward), only daughter of the 1st Earl of Dudley, on her marriage to Frederick Glyn, 4th Baron Wolverton, in 1895
