A Worcester teacup and saucer

A Worcester tea cup and saucer, the cup with entwined handle, painted in coloured enamels in the London atelier of James Giles with the Lady Mary Wortley Montagu pattern, with exotic birds in gilt flower and 'C' scroll cartouches, and smaller panels of flowers and insects, on a blue scale ground, circa 1772, underglaze  blue crescent and fret marks

This is version one of the Lady Mary Wortley Montagu Pattern
