A pair of Meissen lemon shaped boxes and covers

A pair of Meissen boxes and covers, each in the form of a naturalistically coloured lemon, with flower bud and stem loop knop, each base applied with a bold band of finely modelled coloured flowers and leaves, the stems uniting to form a ribbon tied handle, 5 3/4" long, circa 1850, blue crossed swords marks and impressed numerals
