A very fine pair of Chelsea Raised Anchor period small dishes

A very fine pair of Chelsea Raised Anchor Period small leaf shaped dishes, after Meissen originals, each superbly painted in coloured enamels in 'Vincennes' style with a flower spray, a caterpillar and winged insects, the border with brown line rim, 8" wide, circa 1750, stilt marks

Provenance; American Private Collection

See F S Mackenna, Chelsea Porcelain. The Triangle and Raised Anchor Wares, plates 24 and 25, for other pieces painted in this style. These dishes have survived in immaculate condition, and the detailed painting is the work of Chelsea at its very best in this early period
