A rare Bayreuth faience melon shaped tureen and cover, naturalistically painted in yellow and green, and modelled with leaves and flower heads, the fixed lobed plate shaped stand painted in yellow, green, blue and manganese with flowers and leaves, 9 1/2" diameter, circa 1770, numeral 17 in manganese inside the tureen
