A large Worcester basket

A Worcester large oval pierced basket, the two twig loop handles with applied flower and leaf terminals, superbly painted in coloured enamels in the London atelier of James Giles with a cluster of fruits, flowers and pea-pods, and scattered flowers, the turquoise grid decorated in gilt with 'C' scrolls, flowers and leaves, the exterior applied with flower heads, picked out in pice and blue, gilt line rim, 10 1/2" wide, circa 1770, no mark
