A rare Lund's Bristol pickle dish, in the form of a pointed leaf, painted in pale underglaze blue with a peony and leaves, the rim with four diaper panels, the underside moulded with veining, 4" long, circa 1750, no mark

Provenance; The Earls of Howth, Howth Castle, Dublin, acquired prior to 1860, and by family descent. Recorded in a 1951 inventory 'Three Chinese blue and white leaf dishes £3'
