A Chelsea chamber candlestick, in the form of a naturalistic bird, pecking a leaf, before a tree applied with coloured flowers and leaves, and supporting a leaf moulded sconce picked out in green, purple and blue, the scroll moulded base picked out in gilt, and the loop handle with flower head thumbpiece, 6 3/4" high, circa 1756, red anchor mark
