A Minton plate

A Minton plate, finely painted in coloured enamels with a head and shoulders study of a young girl, a ribbon in her hair, the turquoise ground pierced basketwork border picked out in gilt, 9 3/4" diameter, impressed mark for circa 1871-74, puce printed 'Minton Art Pottery Studio, Kensington Gore' mark and decorator's monogram
