A Derby biscuit porcelain figure of Mars, standing, in armour, a shield and other military trophies at his feet, on square base, 7" high, circa 1785, incised No 114

A similar figure is in the Victoria and Albert Museum

The prototype for this figure is a Meissen model by J J Kandler in 1746
