A Charles Gouyn (St James's Factory) scent bottle and stopper, in the form of a young woman and Cupid, flanking a clock face supported on a marbled column, and surrounded by pink flower heads and green leaves, a Dalmatian seated at the base, on 'shagreen' decorated square base, picked out in puce and inscribed in black 'L'Heure Du Berger Fidelle', 3 1/8" high, circa 1755, no mark
