A rare Mennecy ovoid teapot and domed cover, with flower knop, the scroll handle with leaf moulded thumb piece, finely applied with swags of flowers and leaves to the upper body and the cover, and with contemporary French engraved silver mounts with the charge mark for Antoine Leschaudel, circa 1744-1750, the porcelain circa 1740, no mark
