A pair of Chelsea deep plates, of 'Warren Hastings' type, each painted in coloured enamels with scattered flowers and leaves, and one with a butterfly, the border finely painted with figures in European landscapes, with ruins and shipping, within three puce scroll moulded cartouches, alternating with diaper moulded panels, brown line rim, 9 1/2" diameter, circa 1755, red anchor marks
