A Derby pierced oval large basket, the two turquoise double loop rope twist handles with applied flower head terminals, painted in coloured enamels in 'Moth Painter' style with an apple, leaves, and seven butterflies, moths and other insects, the exterior applied with flower heads, picked out in turquoise and yellow, brown line rim, 10 1/4" wide overall, circa 1760, no mark
