A fine pair of Worcester shell shaped dishes, each interior painted in coloured enamels with a spray of flowers and leaves, and scattered flowers, the puce border picked out in yellow and gilt, 5 1/4" long, circa 1765, no mark

Worcester shell dishes of this form are normally decorated in underglaze blue. Polychrome examples are rare.
