A very unusual Coalport centre dish

A very unusual Coalport oval centre dish, probably made as an addition to an earlier Chelsea dessert service, finely painted in coloured enamels in Chelsea style with a bird on rockwork, and two birds in branches, the border painted in turquoise and brown with a feather band, the underside painted with rockwork, 12" wide, circa 1800-180, no mark

This rare dish re-creates well the earlier Chelsea style of bird painting.
