A rare Worcester yellow ground sauceboat
A rare Worcester pleat moulded oval sauceboat, the loop handle with scroll thumb piece, painted in coloured enamels with exotic birds in wooded landscapes, within scroll moulded cartouches picked out in puce, and with a smaller cartouche of flowers, the yellow ground painted with two butterflies and a ladybird, the interior painted with a flower spray, and with puce scrolls to the lip, 6 3/4" long, circa 1770, no mark
