An unusual pair of Worcester plates

An unusual pair of Worcester plates, richly decorated in Japanese Arita style with flowers and leaves, the broad border with radiating panels of flowers, diaper and mons, the indented rim with a gilt bsnd, the underside painted with flower sprays, 9 1/2" diameter, circa 1772, rare underglaze blue anchor mark

See Worcester Porcelain, The Zorensky Collection, figure 274 for a similar plate, where the author notes the fine quality of the potting and decoration of this service

This pattern is almost certainly taken from the Meissen interpretation of a Japanese original
