A superb Worcester plate, brilliantly painted in coloured enamels in the London atelier of James Giles with a cut lemon, a melon, flowers and leaves, and scattered flowers, the shaped turquoise ground border decorated in gilt with cornucopia of flowers and leaves, the indented rim with a gilt band, 8 3/4" diameter, circa 1770, no mark
