A rare Chamberlain's Worcester plate

A rare Chamberlain's Worcester deep plate, from the King of Hanover Service, finely painted in coloured enamels, probably by John Wood, with an elegant lady reclining, a shepherd standing at her side, within a gilt roundel, the blue ground border decorated in gilt with stiff leaves, 9 3/4" diameter, circa 1796, no mark 

Provenance; English Private Collection

This plate is from a service said to have been presented to the King of Hanover. The majority of the service was in the Collection of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth, The Queen Mother, and remains at Clarence House
