A rare Bristol sauce tureen, cover and stand

A rare Bristol quatrefoil shaped sauce tureen, cover and stand, with two shell and laurel moulded handles, and pinecone knop issuing from gilt stiff leaves, painted in coloured enamels with garlands of flowers and leaves, within blue, puce and gilt flower head panelled interlinked borders, the foot of the tureen moulded with stiff leaves, picked out in gilt, 8" wide overall, circa 1775, blue painted X mark and numeral 6 in gilt
