An exceptional dated Chamberlain's Worcester cabinet plate

An exceptional Chamberlain's Worcester cabinet plate, very finely painted in coloured enamels with a pig before a sty, in a wooded landscape, within a gilt band, the border with a raised paste gilt band of anthemion, gilt gadrooned rim, 10 1/2" diameter, dated 1839 verso, script New Bond Street address mark, and inscribed ' A Boar. The Property of Mr S Lefevre, Heckfield House, Hants, which obtained the prize of £10 at the Meeting of the English Agricultural Society at Oxford, July 1st 1839'
