A pair of Liverpool small oval sauceboats, each with 'C' scroll handle, moulded in relief with arched panels painted in coloured enamels with exotic birds and flowers, on a fluted ground, the gadrooned and scroll moulded rim picked out in puce, the interior painted with flower sprays, 6 1/4" long, circa 1770, Philip Christian's Factory, no marks
