A fine Worcester plate, boldly painted in coloured enamels in the London atelier of James Giles with exotic birds, one perched on rockwork, and one on a branch, the fluted border painted with a butterfly, redcurrants and plums, gilt line rim, 7 3/4" diameter, circa 1768-70, pseudo Chelsea red anchor mark
