An unusual Derby 'Pale Family' figure of Cybele with a Lion, the Goddess standing, her right arm outstretched, her left holding an upturned cornucopia of flowers, her yellow robes finely painted in coloured enamels with flowers, a recumbent lion at her feet, the pierced high mound base applied in bold relief with coloured flowers, buds and leaves, 8 3/4" high, circa 1758, patch marks
