A Chelsea double scent bottle, in the form of a seated brown monkey, carrying a young grey monkey in a yellow basket on her back, the basket rim applied with coloured flower heads, each monkey head forming a stopper, with gold mount and chain, on domed base painted with flowers and leaves, within a gilt 'dog-tooth' border, the underside painted with a flower spray, 2 1/4" high, circa 1755
