Probably Mary, Marchioness of Downshire, Baroness Sandys (1764-1836), and by descent to the previous owner at Ombersley Court

An early Chamberlain Worcester chamber candlestick, of round tapering form, with ring handle, finely painted in coloured enamels with a named view of 'Brig (sic) of Ayr', within a gilt border, the salmon ground decorated in gilt with flower heads, festoons and roundels, 2 1/2" high, circa 1795, script mark in iron red and titled beneath
